How to choose a cabin suitcase
Check your airline’s limit. Ryanair with Priority: 55 × 40 × 20 cm and 10 kg. Lufthansa and Wizz Air with Priority: 55 × 40 × 23 cm and 8–10 kg. For Ryanair choose a 20 cm deep model: E2 33 L, E3 PRO 33 L or PROSTO® Edition.
Count the weight. With an 8 kg allowance the JOY (2.7 kg) leaves over 5 kg for your things, while the E+ with power bank (4.2 kg) leaves about 3.8 kg.
Pick the material. Polycarbonate (E, E+, E3 PRO) flexes on impact and springs back, which is why these models have a 7-year warranty. ABS (E1, E2, JOY) is lighter on the wallet.
Travelling for work? A front laptop pocket (E, E+, E3 PRO 37 L, E2 38 L, E1) lets you take the laptop out at security without opening the suitcase, and the E+ adds a removable 10,000 mAh power bank.
